Frequently asked questions

Is AI Prompt Box free?

Yes. Every feature is free to use, with no trial timer, no credit limit, and no paywall waiting at the end. You type an idea, pick a content type, and copy the prompt. There is no premium tier that unlocks the "real" version later.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no login, and no email box to fill in. Open the page and start typing. We would rather you spend your time writing prompts than managing yet another account.

Which AIs does it support?

The prompts are written to work across the tools people actually use, grouped by what you want to make:

  • Text and chat: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi, and Doubao.
  • Images: Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, Flux, Ideogram, Firefly, and Leonardo.
  • Video: Kling, Veo, Runway, Hailuo, and Vidu.
  • Code: any assistant that reads plain-language instructions, from chat models to in-editor helpers.

We are not affiliated with these companies. The brand names are here so you know where a prompt is meant to land.

Does it store the ideas I type?

No. The generator runs entirely in your browser. What you type is turned into a prompt on your own device, and nothing is sent to a server to be saved. Close the tab and it is gone. That also means we cannot read your ideas, because they never reach us.

How does Automatic mode work?

Automatic mode reads your idea and makes a few calls for you. It guesses whether you are after text, an image, code, or video, then picks a tone that fits that job. If your request could go several ways, it builds a model-agnostic universal prompt: clear structure that any capable AI can follow, without leaning on one tool's quirks. Prefer to steer it yourself? Switch off Automatic and choose the content type and tone by hand.

What content types can I generate?

Four: text, image, code, and video. Each one shapes the prompt differently. A text prompt sets role, task, and format; an image prompt leans on subject, style, lighting, and framing; a code prompt states the language, the goal, and the constraints; a video prompt describes the scene, motion, and shot. Same idea, four different blueprints.

What languages are available?

Ten. You can write your idea and read the interface in any of them, so you are not forced to think in English before you have even started. Pick your language from the switcher at the top of the page.

Can I use the generated prompts commercially?

Yes. The prompts are yours. Use them in client work, in a product, in a course, or in your own projects, with no attribution back to us required. We do not claim ownership of what the tool helps you write.

Why does an image prompt keep some English words?

Image models are trained mostly on English tags and captions, so terms like cinematic, bokeh, or wide shot tend to steer them more reliably than translated equivalents. When you write in another language, your actual idea stays in that language; only a handful of these technical style words are kept in English so the picture comes out closer to what you pictured.

Do you guarantee results?

No, and we would be wary of anyone who did. This tool structures the prompt clearly and completely. The AI you paste it into does the generating, and every model has good days and odd ones. A solid prompt stacks the odds in your favor; it does not hand you a promise.

How do I get the best results?

Start with one specific idea rather than a vague theme. Say who the output is for and what it should do. Name a format or a length if you have one in mind. If the first result misses, tweak one thing and run it again instead of rewriting from scratch. For worked examples and a longer walkthrough, read the full guide, then put it into practice in the generator.
